In dry weather, water copiously in the evening. Cut higher and consider converting to mulching mowing. Rake before mowing to present straggly ground hugging weeds and grasses to the cutters. If damp but not too wet, scarify again to remove thatch. Spray lawn weeds with selective weedkiller. Split the clumps and replant the now dormant naturalised bulbs. A top dressing of bone meal will improve their vigour next year. Trim lawn edges. Strim or brushcut weeds under hedges and around trees and shrubs.
